Traveling Light, Poems by Glenn Freeman
The jazzy rhythms of Glenn Freeman's Traveling Light remind us that pain can be redeemed by the consoling power of song.
"Freeman's gorgeous poems conjugate in registers of emotion 'we didn't even know we were trying to feel.' Contemplating our deep needs and meanings, he writes in a voice that is 'the lush language of relation, the All.' A remarkable book of moving, illimitable poetry-a gift."--Kathleen Halme
"Glenn Freeman's name makes sense. Through the fertile valley of his pems wanders an iconoclastic American Self beset by Post- Romantic anxiety and wonder. Whether atheist or Budhist, rock-'n-roller or lyrical provocateur, Freeman has it going on, as he spins 'beneath the All Of It.' We're the better for this terrific book."--Alan Michael Parker
